    I never really got into acid house, mostly because I am not a happy camper, I went the hippie music + southern rap LSD experience route but never fucked with X in any form, and I don't dance except with my dog. I did always have a soft spot for Richie Hawtin, though. The F.U.S.E. thing he did for the Artifical Intelligence series is a record for which I've been looking for a while, seeing as how I sampled it on the first DPS record and felt I should at least buy the damn thing. I think eBay / Gemm are my only hopes now, though I've never been to Amoeba. Gray... road trip?

    to tell you the truth, i don't really like it all that much, either. i sort of bent the truth a little when i made that whole thing up.

    i've also been writing jokes a lot lately

    that last one took me an hour and a half (minus smoke breaks)

    Bent the truth? You're kidding. I thought that was like an autobiography chapter.

    I was serious about Richie Hawtin, though. And I'm mildly sad that you edited away your latest ironic masterpiece. Partially because Ben's list of acts is now like 8 times longer. Seriously, Tude, once I got halfway through that I half expected to see "and Methusaleh begat Nuomo, and Nuomo begat Rectalis, and Rectalis begat Schlomo, and Schlomo begat Baby Huey, and Huey begat Chick Corea, and Chick Corea begat Chuck Palahniuk, and Chuck Palahniuk begat Tay Zonday." Except about 10 times longer than that with way more good solid Jewish names.
