  2. yo, does dunkk fall under this shit too, like badunkkadnunkk? Cause that opens up a whole nother rednecked vien into this already butchered-by-crackers-in-the-UK idea of utopia in three formats. All in your face when you at tha club

  3. While looking through Wikipedia for "Donk", I discovered this sentence:

It is also found in the North American hardcore DJ circuit, with the Los Angeles based Baco Brothers releasing a "throwback happy gabber" track in 2005 (Undercover Records Limited, UDL001, 2005).

If Vice is referencing this "donk" (which I still don't know wtf it is), it probably means that it'll be gone in two years or less as the stupid brainchild of some self-important member of our generation that it is. Remember electroclash?

  4. Oh shit, this nugget too:

Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley proclaimed August 10, 2005 to be "House Unity Day" in Chicago, in celebration of the "21st anniversary of house music" (actually the 21st anniversary of the founding of Trax Records). The proclamation recognized Chicago as "the original home of house music" and that the music's original creators "were inspired by the love of their city, with the dream that someday their music would spread a message of peace and unity throughout the world".

    'Scuse me while... BLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEARRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHH.
