midi controlers

    The M-audio shit works, so if you find some used shit cheap get it, it may even have an audio interface (ozone I think they call it).

    Doing a quick search- this looked like something cheap and cool, no knobs, but you could do weird shit with it-

    depends on what yr doing with it. oxygen 8 is perfectly fine and cheap for keys / knobs, and you can find them (or ozones, like brian said) used for less than 100. the korg nano* (nanokey, nanopad) are cool and pretty cheap iirc.
