Eno Byrne Multitracks

Dunno when this thing started, but it's kind of a cool concept. They've separated all the tracks for remixing on two songs from "my life in the bush of ghosts" by brian eno and david byrne. the album really never knocked my socks off or anything, but the individual tracks have sampling potential. not that anyone is hurting for material to sample these days, but still.

here.

  1. this shit was part of some anniversary celebration from this album. They dropped this remix thing back in 2006, and it was hella dope. I did a remix and turned it in for secret life (search for bkmiller464, it is still posted). This remix project is a ace (or knife) in my pocket that I like to pull out when I get in a conversation with some know it all hipster fuckhead who thinks he is mad artzy cause he heard taking tiger mountain while he fucked this dumb blond girl he knows

Here is a link to the remix track I did-

crazy part, listen to the raw tracks, then listen to the mixes that came out on the actual record. To get from the multi track to the two track took some good fucking mixing.

  2. yeah i remember when this was happening. i think that record is really incredible to begin with. most of the eno collab projects are pretty sweet. No Pussyfooting remains one of my favorite ambient records of all time.
