peep trashaudio.blogspot.com where this came from: this post is from Anaheim but these guys get down in chicago, and perhaps some other spots-kinda like us.
note: think these kind of visuals are becoming the standard for electronic music performance. what to you guys think?

thought of this after the autechre post. thanks fansler. SNOWBALLz.
this dude is one of the best around..seems like he gets ignored since his style is kinda out of fashion right now. i still have great memories of his set at the now defunct tonic lounge in charlotte in like 2003 or 4. that was the first time i ever saw traktor on anyone's screen (i always try to snoop around behind the stage to see). also saw him in portland a few years back, and he had TWO 303s with blue led mods. he got swagger like that.
ReplyDeleteI saw him in Clemson, and it was a very intense show. He blue screened in the middle of his set and broke out that sick twisted moded out TB303. It was a really good show. This dude makes a living doing sound design for video games and other stuff.
ReplyDeleteThose type of visuals are standard any more, who wants to watch a computer geek leaned over a table typing on his QWERTY and sending midi control data? Other than ourselves? Plus, I get my money's worth for what ever I am on when I go.
