New Rephlex Site
The Rephlex Records site has been updated and there are new Jodey Kendrick, Alexi Perala, and DMX Krew full lengths up (download only so-far). They also have digital releases of a bunch of old stuff: all the Bogdan albums, all the Analords if you slept. Be warned, if you buy some downloads, the file management is kind of crap: you just have right-click->save as... each individual track.

ReplyDeleteyeah, the old site sucked worse though - it was basically some green text and an email link. the point of my post was really more "look at these new releases" than "look at this awesome website".
ReplyDeletei actually liked the old rephlex website with green text. it reminded me of the mid 80s library look up system. but gotdurn this new site looks like some angelfire shit. welcome to 1995. those jodey kendrick joints are hot.
ReplyDeletemy main problem with the old rephlex site is that you couldn't order anything from there. it was just like "look at all these great records you can't have anymore". at least now you can download some of the out-of-print stuff and not resort to questionable rips from torrents or something. i'm liking the full length jodey kendrick even more than the 12". i am about ready for aphex to start doing something different than old school electro though. it seems like he's already been doing this longer than he ever did drill and bass stuff. i'm ready for some next-level rdj joints.
