Music nerd of the day...

...is this guy. Scroll down to the bottom to see the transcription for Zomby's Kaliko. Seriously. Dude just wrote out every note for a qualude-crunk tune. And I thought I was analytical! Something tells me we would have gotten along well with this guy in school.

First person to print out and play that "sheet music" gets the next BFC release.

  1. kaliko is one of my favorites lately....the rustie/zombie/joker trifecta have the force with them.

  3. Zomby with a y? Tried listening to that shit last month and was amazed at how horrible it was. I think it was "where were you in 92"...so many things wrong with it I don't know where to start.

Now, Zombi on the other hand, I can deal with. Or The Zombies.

  6. gray - where were you in '92 is kind of weird...it's all throwback rave shit made on old samplers. the "zomby ep" is where the good shit is at (although i like the wwyi92 also).

  9. Yeah I actually wanted to come up there and check out the serato setup. I've never witnessed it first-hand, but I just decided to sit back and just listen. Heard one trainwreck, but other than that everything sounded fine. Still, not bad at all for not being familiar with serato.
