burial + four tet vinyl only release sold out in a day

this shit sold out after apparently only being up for pre-order today.

oh well, i'll just had to wait until mp3s of it flood the interwebs.

p.s. when is warp going to make a single goddamn decent website?

  2. Can someone PLEASE explain to me why Burial is so popular? Is it the cheesy diva vocals? Is it the clangy fork and knife sounds he uses for cymbals/hats? Stop trying to be so anonymous and PUT SOME BASSLINES IN YOUR FOOKING CHOONS.

  4. i agree. burial just sounds like sped up ray j or b2k with popcorn going in the background. clown-ass niggaz will buy anything shrouded in mystery or prestige. i don't care who burial is...i wanna know WHO SHOT BIGGIE????????

  5. Yeah, I tried listening to Untrue and liking it. But in the end only that drumless ambient-styles track even stayed on the phone. Shit was just... bland.

Alex, I think you and I should draft a letter to Warp on why their sites always end up being obtuse (in a not-so-good way) and tell them to get with the fucking program, while presenting them working mockups of what the Warp site *could* be.

  6. just after reading this i saw an on warp's news section that they going to launch a new site (i would link directly to that article, but well, i can't). maybe this time it at least won't be in a frameset and warpmart will function well enough to actually be able to buy something.

  7. Yeah the guy doing the Warp redesign is Matt Pyke aka Universal Everything aka the fucking man. He's good, trust me.
