"Iyff Acid Edit 1" = My gut feeling is like "Totally dude. It's Richard." Still, some of the transitions seem too abrupt to be him.
"Untitled" = Totally dude. It's Richard.
"Untitled 9" = Sound like something Aphex made when he had a cold or something. Maybe some old thing he did with Vibert???
"Maelstrom" = I think this is a remix of "My Fucking Sound" off Go Plastic. Seriously. Go back and listen to that shit. This newer choon is like a shortened version. I doubt Richard or Squarepusher would use that sudden transition at 6:49 though.
"Ontrack v2" = Squarepusher maybe? The pads at 1:34-1:35 are the ones from "Tundra". I think he would have tweaked the amen edits a little more.

ReplyDeleteI know the author of these tracks. What I can say is that he is really some 18yo dude and not a known celebrity.
ReplyDeleteHe made these tracks years ago with the crappiest gear you can't even begin to imagine, this is far from being his latest stuff. The funny thing is the fact that he has never heard of Vibert, which proves the point that in the long run is pointless talking about influences and the like.
